Eligibility Criteria for MD/MS in India

To appear for the NEET PG entrance examination in India, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

1. MBBS Degree: Candidates must hold an MBBS degree with at least 50% marks, recognized by the National Medical Council (NMC).
2. Internship Completion: Completion of a one-year internship is mandatory.
3. Registration Certificate: A permanent registration certificate issued by the NMC or a State Medical Council is required.
4. Foreign Medical Graduates: Candidates who have completed their MBBS degree from institutions outside India must clear the FMGE Screening Test and possess a permanent registration certificate to be eligible for the NEET-PG Examination.

Eligibility Criteria for AIQ 50% Seats

As per NEET PG eligibility criteria, candidates from Jammu and Kashmir are generally not eligible to apply under the All India Quota (AIQ) 50% seats. However, there are exceptions:

– Candidates nominated by the Government of India under the central pool seats are eligible.
– Nominated candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit stating their nomination by the Government of India under AIQ 50% seats.
– The affidavit and the application form must be submitted within the prescribed deadline to meet the eligibility requirements.

• 10th Passing Certificate/Birth Certificate
• 12th Mark Sheet
• Mark Sheets of I, II, and III MBBS Examinations
• MBBS Degree/Passing Certificate
• MBBS Internship Completion Certificate
• Permanent Registration Certificate (MCI/State Medical Council)
• MBBS Attempt Certificate.
• Bond Release Certificate or Receipt of the Amount Paid for Bond Release (if applicable).
• Photocopy of PAN Card & Aadhar Card (Candidate & Parent/Guardian) – Originals to be brought at the time of admission.
• Medical Fitness Certificate.
• A minimum of 5 passport-size photographs.
• Employer’s Relieving Certificate (if employed)

• MBBS Transfer & Migration Certificate
